Northminster deacons provide spiritual assistance to members of our church community.  Some of these services include visiting members in the hospital, making phone calls to homebound members, providing home communion, organizing pastoral care visits, and providing receptions for funerals and memorial services. 

In addition the deacons organize neighborhood care teams to provide an opportunity for Northminster neighbors to get to know each other and to respond in love to each one another's needs.    The teams coordinate care of their neighbors who need assistance.  This is most evident when a family member is hospitalized, is chronically ill, or is bereaved.   Care teams provide transportation, errand running, cards and visits or whatever else might be needed.
