Service to others is the focus of the Mission Ministry Team. Whether serving dinners at the IVHP shelter or raising money for missionary work, the Mission Team helps NPC reach across the community, the country and across the world.
Let’s Eat Out is an ongoing project to raise money for future mission trips. One night each month we meet at a restaurant in Diamond Bar, Chino Hills or Walnut for dinner. These restaurants donate a portion of the cost of the meal to our Mission Trip Fund. Check out the church calendar to find out where we will be meeting each month. It’s a great opportunity to have dinner with members of our church family.

Alternative Gift Market
On November 6th the Mission Ministry of Northminster will be hosting our annual Alternative Gift Market. This is a fantastic opportunity to buy a small (or large) but meaningful gift for those "hard to shop for" people in your life.
Representatives from many local organizations will be on hand to describe "first hand" what they do and who they help in our local community and throughout the world. Inland Valley Hope Partners, Habitat for Humanity, Angel Interfaith, Pomona Hope and Alternative Gifts International will all be here to support our market.
Alternative Gifts International will make a special brief presentation during our worship service that day to show us how workers from around the world benefit from working, creating and selling their goods and wares through AGI.
Many of the committees of Northminster will be hosting tables to discuss the projects that they represent from Heifer International to PCUSA projects such as Living Waters that provides clean drinking water to impoverished areas around the world. If your committee has not gotten involved, or if any members of the congregations would like to host a table to help out, please contact Larry Smith our Mission Elder at lawrence.smith@ubs.com.
The Women of Northminster will be hosting a luncheon that day to raise funds for their projects as well. The Alternative Gift Market will run from 9:15 to 10:30 between services and then after the 10:30 service through lunch, so make plans to support our greater Mission efforts and to buy some great gifts-complete with gift cards for your recipients.
