The Second Tuesday of Eastertide

I hope you've entered today with a sense that God is present and attentive. I stepped into my day a bit bleary eyed after staying up unusually late with my daughters discussing how one's metaphysical orientation affects one's everyday life. I'm not sure whether the hour or the subject matter did me in. Probably both.

The photo above is of a hawk that visited our backyard. Who knows how often that happens? I've never been around my house during the day enough to know. A small grace.

Today I need to remember and notice the deliberate, active presence of the Holy Spirit. I need meaning and significance breathed into this day, into me. I need this everyday, but I'm especially aware of it today. Hence the content of today's recorded thoughts.

Jesus' grace and peace be with you today.

Charlie
