Church Operations
Update church website
Use Mailchimp to produce and send out monthly email newsletter and other church email correspondence (additional announcements, prayer requests)
Meet bimonthly with Administrative Committee
Type meeting minutes
Assist with preparation of Sunday worship outline and/or PowerPoint
Compile annual pledge drive mailing, including printing letters and pledge cards, labeling and stuffing envelopes
Record Sunday worship attendance numbers
Report music usage to CCLI (approx. one 3-5 month period, once per year)
Assist with scheduling guest preachers for Sunday worship
Property Management
Check around campus to make sure doors are locked and property is as it should be - monitor for loitering, break-ins, damage, needs for cleaning/repairs, etc.
Investigate and address maintenance issues around property
Oversee tenant usage - communicate with tenants, ensure adherence to lease terms, address tenant needs and concerns
Meet with vendors, maintenance/repair service providers (handyman, HVAC, landscaping, etc.), potential facility renters, etc. as needed
Work with caretaker/custodian to address cleaning and maintenance matters
Do bimonthly walkthrough with pest control service provider to ensure all needed areas are attended to (spraying, rodent bait stations, glue traps, etc.)
Change clocks around campus 2x per year; change batteries as needed
Meet annually with service person to have fire extinguishers inspected and re-tagged
Event and Rental Coordination
Respond to inquiries about weddings, funerals, facility rentals, and long-term leases
Prepare rental contracts
Assist with special events such as funeral services and weddings - planning and preparation meetings, setup times, day of event facilitation
Use desktop publishing software to create funeral programs
